Diamond Athletics 7v7 was built from the need to give athletes more— elite coaching, real competition, and the opportunities needed to reach the next level on and off the field.

Expectations

ATHLETES: Diamond Athletics 7v7 athletes are expected to embody the highest standards both on and off the field. They commit to showing up with discipline, effort, and enthusiasm every day, understanding that their attitude and accountability not only represent themselves but also the entire program. Players are expected to maintain strong academic performance, respect teammates, coaches, and opponents, and consistently demonstrate leadership and sportsmanship. On the field, they are held to a standard of relentless competitiveness, sharp execution, and a willingness to learn, while off the field, they are expected to carry themselves with integrity, humility, and a team-first mindset. At Diamond Athletics, being part of 7v7 means more than just playing football—it’s about setting an example, controlling the chaos, and building habits that prepare athletes for success in college, life, and beyond.

PARENTS: Parents of Diamond Athletics 7v7 athletes play a vital role in the success of the program and are held to the same standards of excellence and respect as their athletes. They are expected to support their child’s growth by encouraging accountability, effort, and discipline, while trusting the coaching staff to teach, guide, and develop each player both on and off the field. Parents are asked to maintain positive energy on the sidelines, model sportsmanship, and refrain from negative behavior toward officials, opponents, or coaches. Just as athletes commit to academics and character, parents are expected to reinforce these values at home, ensuring their child balances athletics with school and life responsibilities. Above all, parents are partners in the mission of Diamond Athletics—helping create an environment where athletes can thrive, mature, and prepare for opportunities at the next level.

Being part of the DA 7v7 program shaped me far beyond the football field. Join us for the DA 7v7 Video Meeting Q&A Session on Monday, October 26, 2026. This virtual forum is designed for athletes and parents to learn exactly how Diamond Athletics operates—our training philosophy, selection criteria, practice structure, travel/tournament calendar, fees & fundraising, academic standards, parent expectations, off-season development, and college recruiting support. We’ll walk through the tryout and roster process, and then open the floor for live questions. Please register in advance to receive the meeting link; a replay will be available to all registrants. Cameras on are encouraged, and we’ll use the chat for questions to keep things efficient. Come prepared with your top questions and leave with clarity on how to earn a spot—and thrive—in Diamond Athletics 7v7.

DA 7v7 Try-Out

Join us for the first DA 7v7 football tryout on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Athletes will be evaluated on speed, change of direction, route-running, ball skills, coverage technique, football IQ, and — most importantly — attitude, effort, and coachability. Sessions will include dynamic warm-ups, position drills (QB, WR, RB, TE, DB, LB), competitive 1-on-1s and 7-on-7 reps. Check-in opens 30 minutes before your session; arrive ready to work with cleats, a mouthguard, and water. Wear a plain compression shirt (no pads). Parents are welcome to observe from designated areas and model positive sideline behavior. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged (walk-ups accepted if space allows). All athletes must have a completed waiver and current academic standing.
